We carry with us the ashes of our mother and a lifetime of memories growing up together. We will visit places that we lived, meet cousins and aunts we haven't seen for years and have a memorial service for our Mum.
Never have we spent two weeks together as adults so if my brothers don't kill me with their teasing then we should have one more experience to bond us together as siblings.
This blog will be written to keep you, our dear family, apprised of our daily activities as we travel around Britain. You can expect an entry and pictures for each area we spend time in: the Cotswalds, Swansea, North Wales, the Lake District, the Firth of Clyde and finally, Edinburgh.
September 12th to 26th should be a memorable two weeks.
